On August 24, 2026, a seminar showcasing the results of the inaugural "Innovation and Digital Technology Learning Partnership Scheme," co-organized by the Education Bureau and Cyberport, was held. The seminar showcased school-based digital educational resources jointly developed and piloted by 10 primary and secondary schools, special schools, and innovation and technology companies. Participating schools, responding to students' learning needs, utilized artificial intelligence (AI) and innovative technologies to promote STEAM education, exploring the practical applications of technology in the classroom.
Peanut King Solution Limited was selected as one of the innovation and technology company partners. This scheme aims to pair primary and secondary schools with innovation and technology companies within the Cyberport community to jointly develop learning and teaching resources integrating technologies such as AI and IoT. This allows students to receive professional online and offline guidance and cutting-edge industry knowledge, thereby cultivating creativity and problem-solving skills. The scheme is free and covers STEAM areas such as primary school science, computer science, mathematics, and secondary school ICT. A seminar showcasing the project results and practical experience will be held at the end of the school year.
Peanut King Solution Limited actively participated in this key project, leveraging its extensive experience in STEAM product development and local teaching practices. With the philosophy of "We invent, We innovate, We solve," the company assists schools in designing innovative solutions suitable for the classroom. These include interactive learning activities combining robotics, sensors, and AI technologies, helping teachers transform abstract concepts into hands-on teaching content. Through the guidance of a professional engineering team, students not only learn programming and hardware principles but also experience real-world innovation processes, enhancing their problem-solving and collaboration skills. The program also emphasizes teacher professional development, enabling educators to stay abreast of the latest technological trends and optimize school-based curricula.
Fung Kai No. 1 Secondary School collaborated closely with startup Peanut King Solution Limited to launch an earthquake-resistant model-making project, embodying the spirit of cross-disciplinary collaboration. Students transformed into junior engineers in STEAM classes, first designing earthquake-resistant structures using a dedicated application, then building physical models from wooden strips for vibration testing. During system testing, computer vision was used to collect vibration and displacement data, and AI analyzed the structural performance, identifying areas requiring reinforcement. Teacher Chen Zihong of the school stated that this teaching model, which combines virtual design with physical production, helps address the previous problem of students easily giving up due to experimental failures. Students are more engaged in class, and through repeated testing and design refinement, they can cultivate their planning thinking and problem-solving abilities.
The Deputy Secretary for Education has praised such projects for allowing technology companies and the education sector to jointly explore the possibilities of technology-enabled teaching. Teachers are not simply outsourcing their teaching but are combining their expertise to design appropriate activities. Peanut King Solution's participation further solidifies its position as an important partner in Hong Kong's STEAM education, continuously injecting innovative vitality into local education, helping students acquire the skills needed for the future in the digital age, and promoting a deep connection between the innovation and technology ecosystem and schools.
